Joint Meeting with University of Iowa on Nutrition
Dr. Gary Rosenthal, Dr. Edith Parker, and Dr. Helena Laroche from the University of Iowa Institute for Clinical and Translational Science will be coming to ISU on August 30th to: 1) introduce key community-based UI investigators to Families Extension faculty and staff, 2) review the aims of their work related to their NIH Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) related to community engagement, 3) better understand ISU Extension infrastructure and programs related to nutrition, 4) identify potential areas of collaboration in nutrition and obesity prevention, and 5) identify one or more collaborative projects for pilot funding provided by UI CTSA. I’d love to have a least a half dozen Families faculty and staff participate in this meeting. Please let me know if you’d like to be included. More details on location and time are forthcoming.
