May 19 Dairy Webinar to focus on Mitigating Heat Stress

The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team monthly webinar series continues on Wednesday, May 19 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with the topic of minimizing heat stress in dairy herds.

ISU Extension and Outreach Agricultural Engineer Brian Dougherty will discuss the elements of ventilation and how to mitigate heat stress in the milking herd. By minimizing heat stress, producers are able to make their cattle more comfortable and better maintain profitability through the hot summer months.
