Monthly Dairy Webinar Feb. 16 to Focus on Difference Between Cash Flow and Profitability

The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team monthly webinar series continues on Wednesday, February 16 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. The program will focus on the difference between cash flow and profitability and when to use each in managing your dairy.

Dr. Larry Tranel, ISU Extension and Outreach Dairy Specialist in Northeast Iowa, will make the presentation. Tranel grew up on a Wisconsin dairy farm, majored in Ag Economics/International Studies with Masters in Ag Industries, all from UW-Platteville. Tranel spent ten years as Dairy Farm Management Agent with UW-Extension and the past 20 years with ISU Extension and Outreach as a Dairy Specialist.

Producers, dairy consultants, and industry reps are encouraged to attend the webinar. There is no fee for the program, but preregistration is requested at https://go.iastate.edu/FZ4S0H. Attendees should log on before noon as the program will start promptly at 12 noon. There will be a question-and-answer session after the presentation.
