Dairy Webinar on April 20 to Focus on Troubleshooting Mastitis in Your Herd

The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team monthly webinar series continues on Wednesday, April 20 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. The April program will focus on strategies to reduce somatic cell counts and lower the incidence of mastitis.

Derek Nolan from the University of Illinois Dairy Education and Extension helps dairy producers reach their goals by providing tools to make informed management decisions and improve milk quality. Nolan focuses on providing hands-on experiences that help you better understand the dairy cow and dairy production system.

Nolan will lead the April 20 webinar and provide ideas and strategies that lower somatic cell counts and reduce the incidence of mastitis.

Producers, dairy consultants, and industry reps are encouraged to attend the webinar. There is no fee for the program, but preregistration is requested at https://go.iastate.edu/RULYLT.

Attendees should log on before noon as the program will start promptly at 12 noon. There will be a question-and-answer session after the presentation.
